The Lovely ThornThe Lovely Thorn by bunny1o
Rain poured from the sky in heavy droplets, pitter-pattering on the elongated glass windows of bakeries, clothes stores, and restaurants in the rural skirts of Great Britain. The sky was dark, shielding away the sun and casting a shadow over tiresome towns and upper-class populations.
The darkened green trees rustled against each other as the strong winds whipped and pushed at their branches.
Everyone seemed to be long fled from the streets, snuggling up in their warm and cozy, candle lit homes.
The on-going storm was the cause for this early retire, a cause for everyone except a for a single black silhouetted figure.
The figure sat atop the bell tower of a church. The silhouette was in the shape of a man, filing his nails as he looked out past the hillside, through the dense rain, and at a large mansion hidden upon the trees.
The man had a plastered smirk as he prettied his nails– his long red hair flowing in the wind.

A few days have past since that last conversation and Claude still talks to you…just never as friendly. It’s always polite talk. Like the way you would speak to someone you just met, it’s nice…but awkward. Sometimes the two of you would run into each other in the hall way. You’d try to say something and start a conversation, but he’d just say something like “Sorry” or “I’m busy.”
Thinking that there was nothing to do about this, you walked into your room and got ready for bed. Sleep was impossible, though. All you could think about was the behavior of the strange new butler you met.
Tap, tap, tap.
Sitting straight up, you tipped your head, straining to hear in the darkness. You definitely heard something… But where did it come from?
Tap, tap, tap.
Someone was knocking on your window!! Cautiously, you walked towards it, grabbing a heavy vase on the way over.
Just in ca

Chapter. 1 We're going to School!?
“Miss ______...” A calm, cool voice beckoned.
You turned your face away from the carriage window to see Sebastian, his face only a few inches away from yours. You jumped back a few inches, startled."Y-Yes?".
You could slightly hear the slight snoring of your master, Ciel, as you played with his soft blue-black hair. During the carriage ride, he fell asleep and somehow ending up in your lap. Lucky for you, you're the only person Sebastian trusts with Ciel. However, it does take a while to earn a demon’s trust. Even little demon Ciel here took while before warming up to you.
The both of you chuckled at Ciel's snoring.
“You know Sebastian, we should probably give this to a museum or something and get an actual car.” you said as you gestured to the old horse-drawn carriage.
He let out a small chuckle and you smiled. "Of course..."
They seem so happy and comfortable with your presence. It makes you happy just being with

“Here is your breakfast, Your Highness,” you said as you gently placed the tray of food on the table.
His face cringed at the sight.
“This isn’t what I wanted, ______!” Alois whacked a plate across the table and you watched as it fell to the floor and shattered.
“B-but, Your Highness, this is what you asked for…”
“I don’t care! I changed my mind! You’re such a useless servant. Claude! Come here!”
Claude entered the room with a worried expression. When he saw what happened, he dismissed you for the rest of the morning and took care of the mess that idiot had just made.
Nothing was ever right when it came to Alois. He would always find something that he didn’t like. You sighed and made your way into your room. Having nothing else to do, you picked up a dusty book and began to read.
A sudden knock on your door made you jump up from your seat on the bed.

Ciel, My Butler?
“Mistress, it’s time for you to wake-up.” You groaned and turned away from the monotone voice of your young butler.
You heard the sliding of metal rings slide across a bar a then the sun poured in to the once dark room, bouncing off the neat _____ colored walls.
You groaned again and pulled your bed sheets over your head, then muttered, “Give me five minutes…”
“Miss…You said that four times already. If you don’t get up now you will be late for your meeting!” said a rather grumpy butler, obviously irritated.
You didn’t reply.
“Young master, let me.” Sebastian leaned in close to your face and let his cool sweet breath run down your spine. “Miss…” he said in a cool seductive voice, “I have your breakfast.”
Breakfast... made by Sebastian? You shot up and searched the room desperately, then pouted realizing he lied.
“So, not cool, Sebastian…” you

“I suppose I can stay the night…” you mumbled. The headache resurfacing, you rested your head back on the couch and closed your eyes.
“Very well, I shall prepare a room for you.” Sebastian said with a pleased smile on his face and began walking towards the door.
“Wait…!” you randomly shouted out with an outstretched hand.
“Hmm? Yes, milady?”
“I-” the growling of your stomach interrupted your conversation.
“Shall I make you something to eat?”
“Umm…. I don’t want to cause you any trouble, but I can make something myself…and I’ll clean everything up an-”
“Oh, please. It’s no trouble at all.”
I guess it wouldn’t hurt…
You followed him into the kitchen and he motioned for you to sit at a small table in the middle of the room.
“Do you have a request as to what you wish to eat? Or
Black Butler x Reader Chapter Two The Country SideYou had been walking for ever it seemed like. If you were right, based off the way the moon is positioned in the sky, its about nine o clock at night. You were so tired. And not to mention cold. You wrapped your arms around your self tighter, trying to keep warm. Your dress had gotten torn on the hem, and your shoes were about to wear through.Black Butler x Reader Chapter Two The Country Side by lozlove14
'I have to stay awake.' You think to yourself. So you do what comes to you naturally. You sing. Usually you don't sing, because you were a little self conscious, but you were alone. So you began.
Stay awake, don't rest your head
Don't lie down upon your bed
While the moon drifts in the skies
Stay awake, don't close your eyes
Though the world is fast asleep
Though your pillow's soft and deep
You're not sleepy as you seem
Stay awake, don't nod and dream
You abruptly stopped the song when you heard the clip clop of horse hooves on the -road.
'Just keep moving.' You thought to yourself and shivered at the thought of who they might be
